Overview

AXYZ Design & CNC ("we", "us", "our") is an independent design practice operated by Augustin Cortez in Southern California. We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about the limited data we handle.

This site is a static portfolio and inquiry website. We do not run advertising, analytics, or tracking of any kind. The only personal data we receive is what you voluntarily submit through our contact form.

Information We Collect

The only personal information we collect is what you provide when submitting the contact form:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Type of service you're interested in
• Project details you choose to share

We do not collect IP addresses, device identifiers, browser fingerprints, or any data beyond what you type into the form.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

• Review your project inquiry
• Prepare and send a project response
• Communicate with you about your project

We do not use your information for marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than responding to your inquiry.

Third-Party Services

This site relies on a small number of third-party services to function. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Web3Forms (web3forms.com) — Processes contact form submissions and forwards them to our email inbox. Form data passes through their servers. See the Web3Forms Privacy Policy.
• GitHub Pages (pages.github.com) — Hosts this website. GitHub may log basic server access data (IP, browser type) as part of standard hosting infrastructure. See GitHub's Privacy Statement.
• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) — Loads the typefaces used on this site. Your browser makes a request to Google's servers to download font files. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Cookies & Tracking

This website does not set any cookies. We do not use:

• Analytics (Google Analytics, Plausible, etc.)
• Advertising or retargeting pixels (Meta, Google Ads, etc.)
• Session cookies or persistent cookies of any kind
• Fingerprinting or behavioral tracking

If we ever add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and add a cookie consent mechanism before any tracking begins.

Data Retention

Inquiry submissions are received in our private email inbox and retained for as long as needed to manage the business relationship (project correspondence and record-keeping). If you would like your data deleted, contact us and we will remove it.

Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information.

EU/UK residents (GDPR): The legal basis for processing your inquiry data is your consent (submitting the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your rights have been violated.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
